After my son twisted the original on the 2wd rustler we decided to try these .These shafts are well balanced and put down way better power than the plastic trash traxxas sells on the rustler. If you need new driveshafts get them they are probably one of the best on the market .He's currently running the vxl3s on 3s lipos and has the hot racing sealed differential ,it currently tops out at 53mph and these have held up to the wheelie popping abuse of a 13yr old .

I hit my mailbox going arround 50mph with my rustler vxl. Completly shattered the wheel and a arm but the axle looks good as new.

The grub screw pin hole warped during a run, the screw pin is not standard it’s thru hot racing: they don’t sell that screw. Trying to reach them impossible. You can’t fix the shaft need to buy a complete set. An they aren’t durable

Perfect replacement for rear axel shafts on my traxxas slash 4x4, direct bolt on, everything was included to install and held up good on first bash. Immediately took it outside and did a couple of jumps and wall flips and it took the bash well. Didn't break like others mentioned.I will update my review in the future if I come across any issues

Works great. 3s 2wd mod Stampede. The pede is very heavy with giant tires and they have worked great. Only problem was i ripped one dust boot and a gub screw backed out. Not a big deal at all

Nice solids axle- no more worrying about blowouts or stripping on VXL system. Even the rubber boots are holding up well.Only gripe is the lack of replacement grub screws of the exact size used- however Hot Racing offers grub screws 2mm longer that shouldn't have a problem clearing the rear bulkheads or camber links
