Your cart is empty. Hot Racing optional super duty slipper system with pressure plate, slipper hub, and metallic friction pad for the 1/10 TRA Bandit, Jato 3.3, Rally, Rustler, Slash 2WD, Slash 4X4, Stampede 2WD, and Stampede 4X4*.
FEATURES:
- CNC machined aluminum and steel construction
- Metallic friction materials are composed of a number of base metals: copper, bronze, and iron. This material conducts heat away from the friction material surface and offer low wear, for applications that demand long life and high durability.
YOU WILL RECEIVE:
- One (1) steel slipper pressure plate
- One (1) aluminum slipper hub
- One (1) slipper pad
SPECIFICATIONS:
- Slipper pad size: 24mm octagon
- Thickness: 3.1mm
- Thru hole: 11mm
REQUIREMENTS:
- Ensure slipper plate screws do not extend past plate surface. Shim, file, or obtain different screws if needed.
- Medium thread lock (blue threadlocking compound) on screws threading into slipper plate
COMMENTS:
- This replaces TRA 5556 slipper pressure plate and hub
- Replace slipper pads if they show signs of wear and/or chipping
- Replacement slipper pad is Hot Racing TRX15GXP
- Known to fit (still check your vehicle's manual to verify the stock slipper part number): Bandit, Jato 3.3, Rally, Rustler, Slash 2WD, Slash 4X4, Stampede 2WD, and Stampede 4X4
- * For high torque applications for ONLY the Rally, Slash 4X4, and Stampede 4X4, consider the large slipper system: Hot Racing TRX15EX06

Better than the original. Has a bit of a learning curve. A lot more slip than the original. You should probably buy the hardened steel gear because it will probably melt your plastic one. I wish there was a stronger spring provided as the original one does not have enough tension. I find myself tightening the tension all the way down without backing off at the bottom, and retightening frequently to minimize slip.

Love this super duty slipper, looks as good as it performs. Run it in my 6s 2200kv 2wd street slash that is insainly fast works perfect. I just bought another one for a new project.

Love the clutch compaired to oem slipper on rustler. Its easier to tune and doesn't get near as hot when racing. Only thing and this is minor, is that the clutch pad/material is not perfectly level causing a spur wobble. Very easy to correct with a calibrated eye, a flat surface and emery cloth. Again, a very nice unit with alot more surface friction area well worth the money.
