I'm running various oversize motors in my TRX-4 and I wanted something to hold the motor a little more securely than the stock plastic housing. You never know with aftermarket parts how well they are going to fit. This lines up perfectly. If you combine it with an aluminum motor plate, it also does a good job dissipating some motor heat.
