These ended up being way too small for my aquarium needs - which is my own fault for not figuring that out beforehand. They fall right through the plant baskets I purchased, so I'll probably just end up using them on the bottom of a nano tank. I can't do that with tanks that house anything bigger than a medium goldfish because the pebbles are almost as small as their food.

Keep in mind these are small.. I wanted to add them as a soil amendment and help dry the soil faster.

I've been looking for smaller volume clay pebbles for my smaller 2-in succulent pots and these work perfectly, they allow drainage without taking up the majority of the pot which is fantastic, I'm not sure why there seems to be some hate in the reviews for these, they do what they're supposed to they're tiny little Pebble balls I'm not quite sure what other people expected from them

Based off of the stock photos for this item, I was under the impression the LECA balls would be A LOT larger….they are tiny tiny tiny, & won’t be very useful for me. Not worth the hassle to send back, money down the drain. A scaled photo should be included in the photo descriptions.

I was looking for small leca for terrarium building and found it in this.It's perfect for terrariums, plants with fine roots, or a soil amendment.Compared to regular leca it seemed to have less dust when rinsed prior to use. They do feel more dense and compact, but I think that's just the small size and it has no impact on functionality. The balls were uniform in size and shape and there was minimal breakage on delivery(I found less than a dozen broken pebbles).If you are looking for a small size leca, this could be your new go to.

I use this for my drainage layer in my smaller terrariums, as well as my simi-hydro. one of the best I have found. very good value for the money. has held up very well.

Got these, THEY ARE TINY. Guess i was dooped by the pictures that show somebody holding a product that isn't at all this product. They're smaller than a pencil eraser. Bought the big bag of course (🥲) and you get just under 2 quarts worth, maybe more, so not bad if this is what you want, the bag i got was sliced and the product was all over the inside of the box. Was hoping these would work for my aquaponics net pots that are 2", nope, they just fall right through. Really annoyed with companies that use misleading info to advertise things. Just be honest with things and you'll sell your product, instead you put images of things that aren't the product and you get crappy reviews, makes no sense. Gave it 2 stars because i might use these as soil topper for house plants, other than that, no idea what these microscopic things would be useful for.
