I am a plumber and I love these hot water recirculation pumps, these are great especially for some of the early mornings when your hot water has not circulated to fixtures such as a kitchen, once you program the pump and it's installed on top of the water heater, and you install the mixing union at the fixture you need it at, they work great! To me this looks like the standard name brand unit I think a lot of these are made in the same manufacturing facility, looks like a good quality unit comes with the timer and pump, mixing union, and braided supplies, great value set!

This hot water circulation pump by SWCFRTX is very convenient and so far, trouble-free. I have a couple of hot water circulation pumps that work off of a different concept. Basically, they pump 24 hours per day. This one has a built-in timer that allows you to tailor operation to certain time slots. There is no sense in circulating hot water in the middle of the night or during the hours that you are at work. You just need to install the temperature sensing valve at the furthest faucet from your hot water tank, set the times that you want hot water at your sinks/tub/showers, and the pump does the rest. The quality of this system is quite good, even including the remote sensing valve. It is stainless steel, while even the most expensive name brand equivalent sensing valves are only plastic. Although we are still waiting for our plumber to schedule us for installation of this pump, but we wanted to say that we are impressed with the heavy weight, easy to read dial, and overall appearance of this product. Our old Grundfos pump failed after several seasonal years of use and we are very pleased to find this affordable replacement pump. The photo shows a comparison of the two pumps. They are approximately the size although the photo makes the new one look much larger. Also, the timer dial on the new pump has a different orientation that may or may not be more convenient depending on your particular plumbing configuration. The connections appear to be the same size and it should be a very simple and quick task whenever our plumber can squeeze us in. If there are any issues post installation, I will update this review.

This seems to do a good job! Had a bit of a fuss hooking it up with where my water heater is but ultimately is good

Excellent "all in one" kit.There are two major components:- The hot water pump with an integrated timer- The one way mixing valveI like the mechanical timer but take note, if you have a power outage, you will have to reprogram it because it stops rotating. As such an electronic timer with two AA batteries for backup might have been better.Here's my trick: connect this pump to a remote controller outlet, configured so that when you press the remote, the outlet is on for one hour. Set the pump timer to 24/7.When you are about to take a shower or use hot water, press the button. Within a few minutes you will have instant water - without wasting any energy the rest of the day. And it doesn't matter if you use the water irregularly, such as early in weekdays and later on weekendsFor my setup I have a remote in each bathroom plus one in the kitchen for the dishwasher. I used a 433Mhz remote connected to a timer module with a relay switching the power to the pump but there are many ways of doing this. Works fantastic!

I finally got tired of waiting forever for hot water. No more running the tap for ages. Hot water, like, now. The install wasn't terrible, if you're handy with plumbing, you can probably manage it yourself. The stainless steel valve seems solid, and the included PEX lines were a nice touch. Honestly, the biggest selling point is just the convenience. It's a game-changer for showers in the morning. The 5-year warranty gives you some peace of mind. If you hate waiting for hot water, this is worth looking into.

Thes system is a great way to update your houses hot water system without destroying a bunch of walls. The bypass valve keeps you from having to run new lines back to your hot water heater. This system was easy to install, even for an average DIYer. The kit includes everything you need to get you all setup. The quality of the parts and the pump are great. The most difficult part was getting to the closest electrical outlet. Setting the timer to my needs was straight forward as well. The one thing I have noticed is that I now have no very cold water. Because it recirculates through the cold-water lines, I now always seem to have luke warm cold water. So, if you want to save on water and have near instant hot water and can live with some luke warm cold water, this will be great for you. The price for some of these pumps can get really expensive and this one falls somewhere in the middle of the price range. While they may be a little pricey, they are certainly a lot less than tearing into your walls to run new water lines.
