If you treat this grinder for what it is it will be good. Not for grinding like a typical bench grinder. Cable drive works great. Takes up very little space. Small stock and you will be fine.

I love this thing. I use it often at work.Having said that, it *is* kinda cheap.There are two bolts holding the motor to the base that go through the guards, and that's it. And they need washers. I added rubber supports, as well.The knob is a little short, too; there are probably better ways than my fix, but it works.And though it takes Dremel-sized bits, the threaded end isn't Dremel-sized, so you can't put a Dremel chuck on it. :(That would've been nice.The side is removable, though, so I might be able to make a plate that will accept Dremel flex shafts.

Unfortunately, the chuck does not center the bit so it slightly wobbles. If you don't care about that, then it's perfect.

Small compact seemed like the pref t size grinder of my work station, but I plugged it in and it did not work !
