This suncatcher isn't made of glass, it is acrylic! While I do appreciate that acrylic is lighter weight and not as easily broken as glass, it just doesn't quite have the same effect. Stained glass is so much nicer. This suncatcher does look pretty when light shines through it. It just feels a little cheap, and the cost is pretty high. It also didn't come with the same chain as shown in the picture. It was a ball chain that I didn't care for. This suncatcher really is beautiful design and any rooster lover would probably like it, but just make sure you know what you are getting.

Really pretty colors and makes a great gift for a chicken lover! Got this for my chicken obsessed father and he LOVED it! I wish I could afford 100 of them just to see the smile on his face over and over again. He says it looks beautiful when the sun rays hit it and the colors that are projected. If he is happy with it, so am I!
