The lids that come with the containers will not snap onto the containers. The sides of the containers want to fold from the effort. We have used these types of cantainers a lot and are used to dealing with snap on lids. Also the interior dimensions seem a tad smaller, I vaccuum pack grains in 8 cup packages which have always fit perfectly in the other brands buckets. With these buckets I had to heat seal the side of the bags to make them thinner so they would fit.
