The faceplate swap is extremely easy and fits perfectly. It genuinely feels almost identical to the original.

I've been looking for modified face plates for the elite series 2 controller and have been fresh out of luck. My parameters for a new face plate were to include the rubber grip which most didn't. This not only included rubber grip but matched the grip already on the bottom of the controller perfectly. A great upgrade and replacement for my dilapidated faceplate with peeling rubber.

I was hesitant because some reviews said it didn’t fit right but the one I received was perfect. It fits like the original and what a difference the color males.

This faceplate is a perfect and match to my elite series 2 controller. I highly recommend if you want a more custom looking controller. Materials are equivalent to oem parts. I suggest using plastic pry tools rather than the supplied metal tool as to not damage your controller.

This faceplate looks so incredibly good on my Elite 2 controller. The original controller began to have the grips peeling off and I thought it became a $180 paperweight. Instead, I took the risk and bought this and replaced it myself. I also bought the mystic buttons and controller back and this thing is now a completely custom controller. Not easy to do, but incredibly well worth the effort.

[Review]The black grip handles are almost identical and perfect, they’re a bit smoother than the OG grip texture and not as prominent but you won’t know or feel the difference unless you really look at the handles. Their shell is not the same as the OG (which are not as smooth) that makes them feel like they’re durable and makes my controller feel like I bought a new one. The shell is easy to install and the hard part is removing the OG shell but that’s on Xbox part.[Directions]you can see the pictures and videos they advertise if you wanna see a visual tutorial. You should remove all parts of the controller before removing the shell like the D-pad and magnetic joystick, next start underneath the shell near the RB and LB, insert the provided tool that came with the shell at a horizontal position and slowly twist the tool and work your way around the shell until you get one side of the bottom shell open (near where the D-pad and Right joystick is) and finally you can remove the entire shell itself from the controller. You should before or after working on the shell, put the red circle on the new shell itself.Notice before putting on the new shell, that anything that was broke specifically the hook underneath the shell doesn’t rattle inside, just shake the controller upside down.
