This is just like one I was given in 1995, except it has a matte finish instead of glossy finish . It looks great and works well.

I bought this clock because of the size, it's very compact, looks smart and has a gentle tick. It was well packed although on opening the battery compartment appeared to have been opened as it was detached. The overall quality is good although at the back it's rather tacky plastic. Overall I'm happy with it and it does what it says on the tin. If I could change anything I would like the tick to be a little bit more audible. A smart little clock.

We bought this clock for our kitchen. It is a little shorter than expected, but we put it on a stand and looks great. Numbers are easy to read from our kitchen table. Looks expensive with the cherry cabinet. Would definitely recommend it for any room--not too large and not too small.

Bought for an anniversary gift and was perfect. Clock didn't feel cheap in anyway and was modestly priced. Makes a nice gift.

I went to amazon.com and searched for a decorative tabletop ALARM CLOCK and this is what amazon.com included in my selections. Since my previous alarm clock looked almost exactly like this, I ordered it. Guess What? It's NOT an alarm clock and now I'm stuck without an alarm clock but a lovely, totally unusable decorative table clock.
