I had no issues. Taps were sharp and uniform. I used the 16x1mm RH. And tapped aluminum. Cut clean and didn’t gall or chunk. For the price it can’t be beat

Not sharp at all, required tremendous force to cut threads and they were crooked. I ruined several shanks/arbors for a boring head which required a lot of accuracy. I have been machining and working with tools for decades, I know quality taps and what they are capable of. Knowing this was for a one off project, I took a chance on these taps...Big mistake. Save yourself some grief and spend the extra money for a quality HSS tap.

Worked fine, only needed it to remove some galling in threads in a plug opening on my outboard motor.
