Installed these in my planer when the factory installed blades started wearing out and it has been running like new ever since. If you are the type that has to have OEM then go spend the extra money by all means but with the positive reviews of these knives and the SIGNIFICANT cost savings, I bought the HSS knives and have had no regrets...they have held up extremely well over the past year.

These were good right out of the box, but the truth is in how long they last. They're about 100 board feet into their life time, the fifth star will depend on how they last.

These blades are an ideal match for the DeWalt planer, delivering exceptional performance. The steel used in their construction appears to be of top-notch quality, and these blades have retained their sharpness just as effectively as the original equipment blades, even when working with exceptionally hard wood.

So much vibration, they struggle to cut right out of the box. Good enough for a hobbyist but not a busy pro shop.

I have bought these a couple of times now. They do not last as long as the blades you get from dewalt but they are also half the price. I do A LOT of planning both hardwoods and soft and I have to replace the blades once or twice a year. They leave a decent flat finish and do a good job. They fit perfectly in my DW735 and I have never had an issue with the blades. You can tell when they are getting dull as the planer will work harder so then you either flip them over or get a new set.

These blades fit the DeWalt planer perfectly, and do an excellent job. The steel seems to be of a very good quality and the blades have remained sharp just as long as the original equipment, even on very hard wood.

as described and nice priceMy friend is a fanatical woodworker. This is my birthday present for him. The packaging is very solid. The blades are wrapped in a plastic box with bubble cushions, and the edges are well protected.This is a great planer blades and it work well for wood.
