I don’t use this for sculpting, but it’s handy for a lot of other things. The metal is strong and has never bent. I keep one in my desk pencil cup, tool box, & kitchen drawer and use them for all kinds of stuff. The non-pointed end makes a good pry bar for opening things like small paint cans or my car key battery door. I’ve used it to spread glue on a small area, to smooth a fold in card stock, or to scoop or scrape something. The pointy end can be used to as a probe or to push a paper towel into a small recess to clean it.

This works well as a dab tool. The pointed side really scrapes cons out of your bucket well along the glass sides. I also don't mind that it's on the larger side. It feels like a medical tool.

Solid product. Good quality. Only issue is the scoops on each end are rather large. The substance i am scooping is placed into a quarts nail on a scientific water pipe. If your quarts nail is not large enough the scoops on each end of this product wont allow you to place the substance in the quarts nail properly. But overall very good product just didnt work too well for my intended use.

Edit: ordered another and got a totally different tool of inferior quality. The first one I got is still a “Kick ass tool for flameworking!” But the second one is worthless
