Although it looks like so many others that cost much more, I don't think the quality is where it could be. There aren't any instructions on installation. I looked at the bike and figured it out for myself. The mechanism feels like rough metal on rough metal, not a smooth transition from the up to down position. The lever for putting it down isn't quite long enough to allow enough leverage to hoist a 950 lb bike. I'm a pretty stout guy and I had to really lay into the effort to get it on the stand. Getting it off the stand was a pain also. The feet gouged concrete when attempting to get the bike on the stand and when I pushed the bike forward to get it off the stand, the feet dragged on concrete leaving gouge marks. I had to lift heavily while moving the bike forward to get it off the stand. And I've got the feet set as low as they'll go so the rear tire is sitting firmly on the ground when the stand is all the way down. Another thing that I've noticed is the stand will drag when cornering on some uneven pavement, but I guess that's to be expected given the fact that it hangs down lower than the jiffy stand. But, with all that said, it's very helpful when working on the bike or washing it. for those purposes it's quite handy.

from The Mac Guru on October 13, 2020DO nOT buy this products fails and hits ground could get you killed. The spring holder failed and the stand began to hit ground moving at 50mph after 2 days. There is no instructions. Epic fail this shouldn’t be sold on Amazon returning defective product

Part came with no hardware and no instructions. When I finally got it installed it hangs down at about 30 degree angle and any small bump it falls down and drags on the pavement. I sent pictures to seller and to Amazon 3 weeks ago and never heard from either.

A little difficult to install, but seems sturdy...
