Our Story
In 1978, New York City artists Sandy Chilewich and Kathy Moskalwere looking to infuse some color into their wardrobes. When they started hand-dying plain satin flats in a rainbow of jewel tones, friends and family began to demand their own pairs, and HUE was born. With a featured spread in Vogue and a debut at iconic luxury department store Henri Bendel, HUE quickly established itself as an authority on color that transforms.
Since that very first launch, HUE has been dedicated to making getting dressed more expressive and uplifting. Nearly fifty years later, with decades of ingenuity in legwear, sleepwear, leggings, tops and bottoms, swimwear, shoes, and slippers under our belt, we continue to reinvent through vibrant design from head to toe, elevating the everyday ritual of dressing into a creative act.

I’m about 5’11 and not sure how much I weigh. I usually wear size 12, but have gone up a size in certain things . I love this shirt which fits perfectly . I’ve slept in it and worn it around the house, but I would wear it with jeans also . It’s winter. It keeps me the perfect temperature .

It is a great top for the money. Not too long like most are. I washed and hung to dry and it did not shrink. I very seldom put knits in the dryer.

Ok ladies size up on this shirt. I am 5'8" and weigh 180 lbs. I carry my fat in the belly. I prefer tops that are loose fitting and flowing if they are day shirts or night shirts. I can usually wear an XL or 1X. However, I had to order a 2X for a comfortable fit. The shirt arrived on a hanger and in a bag like you would get from a department store.I washed the shirt in cold water and put in the dryer before wearing. The good news is the shirt did NOT shrink! In a previous review someone said the shirt came out of the dryer with 3 holes. Mine did just fine. I gave 4 stars for softness at the moment because it is new. I think this shirt will soften up over time with wear and washings. I plan to order another one.The cost is another a factor. The XL and 1X were $32.31 the 2X was $23.76.Overall I love the shirt.

I’ve ordered Hue 3/4 sleeve tees in a size large and they fit beautifully. This came in a large and fit like a medium. Ordered the XL and it fits perfectly.

Nice quality T, but I bought it for sleeping and it is not generous enough to be comfortable in bed. I am 5'9" and weigh 155 lbs. Large was too small. Instead, I will wear it during the day with pants. It will be fine for that.

I bought this to wear as a regular shirt because it was the only shirt with this cut and fabric I could find during summer. The fabric is fine — it’s a good compromise of thickness and softness for daytime wear — but might be a little too sturdy for comfortable sleeping. The fit is odd and runs small except in the shoulders so it feels clingy even though it doesn’t look clingy. There’s a scratchy branded trim on the inside of the neckline in back which looks and feels cheap. The cut is long-body and slim fit, but with wide shoulders. I haven’t dried it in the dryer as I don’t want it to shrink. Overall it’s fine, but should be 1/2 the price, softer, and roomier.

Bought this for my mom as a pj top. She is size 0-1 and fits her perfect. Mom is 4’10 95lbs, extremely fit. She loves it. Says it’s incredibly soft, the thermal wicking is amazing.
