Inexpensive & works great!! Everything I need to bend conduit as an electrician I chose this DAG over Klein and Milwaukee because of the experience I’ve had with other Huepar laser levels I own.

This is a fantastic little level. Requires no instruction to start using. Reads direct angles be default, or you can zero to an arbitrary angle and read relative angles. When leveling an object, there is an arrow on each side telling you which end to raise or lower to approach level or plumb. There is no beep tone when you hit it, which was surprising. The body is pretty square. Comparing all four sides, each came within 0.2 degrees of square. While it would be great if they all read perfectly square, two-tenths of a degree is imperceptible and more precision than you can expect from a 2” wide level. The magnet on the bottom face is quite strong. In fact, I’ve gotten in the habit of approaching a metal object at an angle so the corner touches first and then rotating the base down to touch the face. If I approach face-on, the unit leaps to the metal with quite a crash. This is never what you want with a precision instrument or a carefully set-up angle. The magnet is not removable, which is notable when working around a compass or steel components you don’t want to move or magnetize. The pic shows me setting up a 22.5 degree crown molding cut. I had previously zeroed the level to the base of the miter saw. There is a profile on all four sides to center the unit up on a cylindrical pipe. Very handy. It is quite small. Easily small enough to keep in your toolbox full time.Great level. Highly recommend.

Easy to use and accurate. The magnet is strong enough to hold it in any position I tried it in and I appreciate the high contrast display which makes it easy to read from larger angles. It even comes with a nice little carrying case with just enough room to shove the manual into.If I had any complaint, it is that the arrow indicators were a little unintuitive at first. I figured the arrows would indicate which direction the object the level is on is leaning. For example, if the display showed ↑ on the left and ↓ on the right, I would think that is indicating that the object is leaning downward to the right. That was incorrect on my part, the arrows indicate the direction you need to move the object to bring it to level. I.e., you need to raise the left side, or lower the right side, of the object to bring it to level. I should have probably read the instructions.

Level appears to be well packaged and built, it doesn't feel cheap. Opening the back up to put the batteries in there is no gasket or o-ring, so there isn't any kind of weatherproofing so just make sure not to use it in the rain. I tested the level against another digital level I got from a local box hardware store and it was dead on with it. I also checked it against a manual angle gauge to test and it was dead on with it, except at around 70° it was off by about 0.4° but above or below 70° it was dead on.I can't speak for battery life as I haven't used it long, but it seems like it should last quite some time. It's a perfect little level to use on different projects, you just turn it on and it's good to go. It is incredibly tiny and accurate for its size. My only downside to it is there are only magnets on the bottom, some others I've seen have magnets on the bottom, top, sides, and back. But for the price this is a great little gadget.

This is wonderful. Accurate, compact and inexpensive.I took a four foot bubble level, and leveled it with this device including checking by reversal (I don't trust the bubble levels in the four-footer, I picked it for straightness, rigidity, and known length). Then I raised one end 2 inches, and got either 4.3% or 4.4% slope in several readings. Hmm... I reminded myself that 1 inch in 8 feet was only an approximate percentage, so I used the calculator to divide 2 by 46 ( the support points were about an inch from each end) and got 4.35%. Not at all shabby. It confirmed the impression I had formed with quite a bit of less rigorous testing.I've got a Brunton pocket transit and some similar devices, a couple of abney levels and some similar devices, and never could do as well with any of them, for more money and less compactness. My full fledged transit could do better, but we're a long way from comparable portability, especially with the tripod and rod. And much more money. None of those options offered remotely the convenience of this tool.I think turning it upside down provides the same reversal accuracy test as turning it horizontally so the display faces away, which will be another convenience in some circumstances.Highly recommended.

This Huepar digital angle finder is a fairly inexpensive tool to have to determine the exact angle to any surface. The uses are almost endless, whether you’re trying to level a picture, or building a house. Just choose how you want to measure the angle, in degrees, inches per foot, millimeters per meter, or a percentage of slope. It has the ability to be calibrated so all subsequent measurements are accurate, as well as setting any surface to a zero setting and measuring an angle from that zero point. Once I calibrated the angle finder, I tested it out in several scenarios, all of the results were dead on accurate. Way more precise than I will ever need for my intended use. It has two aaa replaceable batteries included, and a small pouch one can attach to a belt to store it in between uses. I can see this as a replacement to several other tools I have for measuring any angle. I also like that it has an auto off function so as to not wear out the batteries needlessly. I am totally satisfied with this Huepar Digital Angle finder, and can fully recommend.
