There are five separate parts to this model-skeleton, brain, heart, skin and internal organs. The individual pieces are highly detailed and fit together easily by following the instructions in the manual. The manual is also highly detailed, with lots of photographs and is very educational. It not only tells you how to assemble the various models, it also explains the functions of each organ and how they relates to the organs around it. This is a general anatomy manual to allow you to familiarize yourself with the human body and its organs; there is no medical information provided in this manual. A very nice hardcover case is provided to put everything away when not in use.

My wife works up at the school and thought this would be perfect to bring into class and show the kids while talking about anatomy in class. This was a big hit the kids were so engaged and had so many questions. Comes in a nice carry case so it can be stored away with ease. Comes with skeleton, torso, heart, brain, and skin. Very detailed and the quality is outstanding. She will be using this for years to come with different classes. Love that you can take the different items apart and go into more explanation giving the kids a more well rounded experience and understanding on how each one works and its location. Amazing quality and attention to detail make this an amazing teaching tool.

This set has so much to learn about! It’s got detailed models of the brian, heart, and torso that come apart. A skeleton with moveable jaw and skull top, and even an awesome model of the layers of the skin! - From classrooms to home, this has sparked a ton of curiosity from my sons and being able to have the hands on experience with it really helps keep them interested! Relatively simple to assemble and disassemble - Instructions or info for each model are throughout the booklet (detailed instructions for take apart models, info for the others) - Just follow them in reverse your first time (some segments like the gray matter don’t need to be removed) - The booklet is also really informative about the body and its parts and makes identifying them quite easy - Hands down would get this one again! 10/10

This is a great way to engage kids on all the different major organs of the human body. Our kids love how it's built like a 3D puzzle, with each organ occupying a very precise position in the body. The level of detail is excellent, with accurately positioned and colored capillary arteries, details on the liver and lungs, and an excellent "tour guide" to the body that comes with it.

I got these medical models to decorate a “mad scientist” Halloween booth I’m doing with some other moms at my kid’s school. I think they will be useful for my daughter’s edification as well, especially the torso model, since she sometimes will ask where her heart, her stomach, and her lungs are and ask me to point out the general area on her chest or belly. The models appear to be hand painted and have a lot of detail. The colors help everything to stand out so you can understand what you’re looking at. The heart has a piece attached by magnets that can be removed so you can view the interior, and of course the organs in the human torso can be removed for a closer examination of each organ (it was rather humbling to see how huge the lungs are in comparison with some organs, and just how much we have crammed into us) and the rest of the body cavity. I was also interested to see that the back of the head on the torso can be taken off so you can see the brain, which is in two pieces that can’t be held together on their own. It looks to me like the brain should also be able to be opened but I can’t seem to pry it apart no matter what I do.The one model I don’t find too exciting is the skeleton. The skull just looks strange, and the arms are bolted on at the front in a way that just looks strange. The feet are attached by a small wire that runs across the molded-together fibula and tibia. I understand the pieces need to be fitted together somehow, but it would be better if it were done in a way that more accurately reflects what’s going on in a human skeleton. There is no instruction booklet for how to attach the heart and skeleton to their stands, but it’s pretty clear the heart gets the shorter metal arm and it’s easy to figure out how the pieces fit together. The booklet that is included gives the correct name for each part in each model, and a very helpful guide for how to put the torso back together again once all the organs have been removed. It’s a very basic booklet that doesn’t have much polish to its design, but it is still useful. The carrying case is a nice touch. It has a hard shell with a zip closure (two zippers on the same track), and in addition to the handle at the top there’s an adjustable shoulder strap. You can’t fit everything in there fully assembled but it’s nice to have a way to protect them while in transit.I’m happy with them overall, and think they would be a great educational tool to have available in a classroom.
