Bag is great and seems heavy duty. Rain cover is nice addition.Arrived missing the rifle pouch and have to return entire bag as Amazon won't ship just the pouch

I really do like this backpack, and will probably be back to order some for my boys. It has plenty of storage and seems well thought out to ensure a small, light footprint that holds the necessary equipment. The rain cover is a nice addition, and is a double purpose since it is Blaze Orange and covers the whole backpack. It could serve as the required area of orange for some states.My only concern is again the size, but not the storage, the straps. I am a fairly large guy, 6’3” and 250lbs, and the straps have to be let all the way out for me to even get this on. Even the chest strap to help keep this on, it has to be all the way down on its slides for it to work as intended. I carry an old name brand backpack for work and I don’t have the same issues with it.With the size issues described, I still really do enjoy this back pack. I’m not sure I would use it for longer hunting trips, but it will work just fine for my intended use as a general backpack for my small business and day hunts.

It is far more adjustable that it appears at first glance. There are pockets everywhere and the straps are very versatile, as well. The chest strap comes set very high up, which for bigger people doesn't work. But they can be slid down until the are a more comfortable height. Didn't use the rifle holder, just kept it zipped up inside. Ammo, knives, survival gear all fit nicely, along with changes of gloves, socks and an extra warm shirt and spare smaller jacket. There is also a padded pocket where my reMarkable tablet fit perfectly. First aid kit and sunglasses case snapped onto the D-rings on the shoulder straps to be right at hand. The bottom straps held a rolled up heavier coat, and would hold a smaller sleeping bag if needed instead. Great daypack or emergency pack for the car.

Need a large backpack for some reason? Yup this will do it. I appreciate how much room this gives me, but at the same time, less is more sometimes. My reasoning for lowering one star is just because not only is this large, but it just feels large on me too. This backpack has 2 large areas to store things but be advised that the backing on the backpack will make one of the areas quite stiff so you will face some resistance in the one closest to your back.Also of note is that there is no small zipper in the front. So if you need something small from your bag, you will have to open the outer area and grab the item from the little mesh pocket that is in there.If you're okay with that then this is great. I can't speak to the use of this as a rifle/bow holder because I didn't purchase it for that. I will say, when riding my bike, I was happy to see it comes with a waterproof cover so nothing in the bag gets soaked. Definitely well thought out for outdoor use.
