This is an elegant hurricane candle holder for tealights and votives in a small glass votive holder or a thin pillar candle (smaller than 2.5 inches). The glass is thick enough that it should withstand the heat from the candles. The wood base is smooth with a nice finish. It takes a plain candle up a notch. I think it is a little pricey for what it is, but it is good quality and it looks nice.

This is super cute! It has a unique, antique, and warm vibe. At the same time, the glass is extremely thick and the base—solid wood, so it’s not as fragile as a true antique would be. I got it just for its aesthetics, but it's actually perfect for burning tea light candles! It’s easy to use, sturdy, and well-made. This would make a nice gift too!

I ordered this primarily as a decoration and wasn't too concerned about it being functional, but it seems like a good thing to have around the house in case the power goes out. I tested it out under a few different conditions to see how good it was at keeping wind away from candles though. It does the job well.If you order this, keep in mind it's intended for 2.7-inch pillar candles and tea lights. 3-inch candles (which I have a ton of) won't fit.The shipping was relatively quick. It came packed in foam and heavy cardboard so the glass part was very safe.

Beautifully shaped glass hurricane globes. They look a great deal like an old fashioned oil lamp with their delightful curves. Included with this set of 2 candle holders are a pair of complimentary wood bases to hold the candles weather they’re small, votive candles or a nice pillar candle. Good choice.

I love this little candle holder. I tried it out with a tea candle, and it burned a little brighter than normal. It's so cute, that I am going to use it all of the time just for the ambiance of it. It will go really beautifully with all of my decorations during the Holidays too.

The glass piece does not set down into the wooden base. So I'm using it by itself. Dissatisfied in purchase.
