I'm in love with this Hurst shifter. Definitely beats the OEM shifter by a long shot. It is pricy but for the looks and feel I think it was worth it. Does have weight to it and feels exactly how much it costs. Was easy to install. Just watched a YouTube video and installed it in less than 30 min.

Before and After pictures. This is the way Dodge should have done it, the Hurst shifter feels so cool, looks awesome and makes it feel like a muscle car should! Relatively simple installation, lots of videos online to help you. Pricey, but I feel it is worth it.

Installed this shifter on my 2019 WB Hellcat Redeye. Fitment was perfect, feels solid and it looks bad a$$. Included instructions are for earlier Challenger trims but its pretty much the same procedure. You do not need to remove the whole center console trim (carbon fiber looking one) just need to remove the black trim section around the shifter, use a trim removal tool (a must so you dont risk scratching anything) and for sure don't rush it, take your time, no help needed at all, it took me about 1 hr or so to complete, the hardest part was removing the shifter connection out of its housing which seemed to be the easiest thing at the time. The hellcat has some sort of a "cubby" hole space in front of the shifter right below the radio and a/c stack, the original shifter MUST be reconnected and shoved inside that cubby hole, it fits perfectly even wrapped with a towel, there's plenty room there. Take your time separating the boot off its orange sleeve, it is glued but comes out easy if done carefully. Make sure to push the new shifter down all the way and that the set screw is "set" properly before snapping the bigger black panel trim that was removed on step 1 (the one surrounding the whole shifter, not the one that surrounds the boot) if the pistol grip moves a bit from side to side or feels a little lose its not set properly, it must fit and feel solid, then you can go ahead and snap back the black panel trim and then snap the boot trim. Thats the way i did it and everything went effortless and fairly quick without any hiccups.

Installed on a 2015 Charger R/T. Easy enough and looks very nice. The feel is the real selling point foe me—it’s solid.

Shifter itself looks great and works fine so far, but I had a few issues with the installation -Wasn't impressed with the instructions. The first issue was trying to unplug the connector after getting the plate off (that in itself took a while because I was trying to pry it at the black ring, not the edge of the gray, but that's on me) - I couldn't figure how to disconnect it then finally unscrewed the set screw to lift the old handle off and that allowed me to turn the whole unit around and it was easy to remove the connector then. They should change the order to reflect that. Then trying to remove the white piece from the black harness - I found an instructional video from Barton (another aftermarket shifter company) and it just slipped right out for the guy, but this was made of sterner stuff. Fortunately my upstairs neighbor came home in the middle of the process and I enlisted his help and he was able to pry apart the black clips with pliers while I pulled out the white piece. Still not sure how one person could do it alone.Same thing with getting the old shifter out from the plastic ring - I didn't want to bother my neighbor again and was able to do it after much effort with 2 flathead screwdrivers, but it would have been a lot easier for two people. Then the BIG issue - pushed the new shifter through the boot and zip tied it as instructed, then read the next step (insert the new set screw) and found that the hole was covered by the boot below the zip tie. I cut the stitching of the boot but still didn't have enough room to work with so I had to cut the zip tie. Of course you need that specific size and none of the zip ties I had on hand were the right kind. Very fortunately there's an Ace Hardware literally across the street from me so I made my second trip over to get the right sized zip tie (first was for the proper torx wrench to put the Rosewood plates on, as my allen wrench set didn't have the right size). So now I put in the set screw first then redid the zip tie, pulling apart the boot around the set screw hole enough to be able to work with it once I put the whole unit back on. Also good thing I had gone and bought the multi torx wrench tool as I needed a 10x for the new set screw.Other than that was easy cheezy
