When installed correctly this worked like a charm. Either the broken after first use or broken after a couple of use crowd didn't install it correctly or just got factory defects. This is an easy piece to install incorrectly so ensure that you are paying close attention to the removal to ensure the proper installation.

This Idler pulley was a perfect replacement for the one that gave out on me on my Husqvarna zero turn. Installation is/can be a bit tricky if you've never replaced one before, but can easily be found online (YouTube to the rescue) and is not really all that difficult. It's more of a familiarity issue than mechanical to be able to replace one, meaning, once you do it once, you'll be good to go from there.I'd recommend using a high temp grease on the inside bearing of the pulley to keep it from wanting to seize up on you before you install it. (this is what happened to my old pulley, it dried out at some point and the belt kept sliding over it until it melted). The item itself is an exact fit, no modification necessary. Very happy with the purchase and it's still going strong a year later.
