I'm happy with these on my Husky 362XP. Instal took only a few min and make sure on these saws you remove the plastic guard I point to in one of my pics. The insert for the nuts are behind that plastic piece. These are a significant improvement and besides the lack of instal instructions it's not that hard.

Works as intended. Very sharp. Very durable & thick metal. Fit my saw.

Why Husqvarna put toy dogs on the 556 XP in the first place is stupid. I've been a faller and arborist for over 40 years, and what came on this saw is a joke.So I order these to "upgrade" a saw that should have come with them in the first place, but only one side actually has spikes for falling (making face cuts). The other side is actually the same lame toy dog that came with the saw. My bad for not catching this, but my review is a warning for others. If your goal is to put real falling dogs on your saw, on both sides of the bar, these are not the solution. Complete waste of $32.

These are definitely an upgrade to the stock spikes on my Husqvarna 562XP. I've had these for a month and have cut a mix of hard and soft woods on several properties. Easy to install and I believe worth it.

I have a Husqvarna 555 which apparently has no offerings for felling dogs. Next to ordering custom, this was the best option. The 562 and 555 have the same crankcase's pre-tapped holes for the dogs, so the inner one went on easy. However, the 555's clutch cover is smaller and in general completely different in it's dimensions to the 562. In the end it turned out well despite there being zero compatibility on the clutch side. Just make sure the dog is parallel to the inner (this is the hardest part), mark and drill your holes, clear away material on the inside so you can have the nut captive, and make a shim (I used a washer dremmeled down to a wedge) for the upper part of the bracket since it will need some support. If you are trying to do the same, good luck, and I hope the pictures and notes shed a little light on how to go about it.

Great spikes. Not too big for a 562.

Everything showed up and in good condition only thing that didn’t come with it that would have been nice is a diagram/direction’s but over all it was good
