Tips
This blend door controller had 5 pins (left 2 pins and right 3 pins) terminal connector. There are a couple of similar versions of this parts in the market, you can pull yours out and count the pins to get the correct one. Prior to replacement, you need to make sure this is the exact one you need.

The day after I installed it, I started up my 2001 Suburban and this part started making popping noises. Now the temperature control is stuck in the cold position. Hot weather will be here soon, so I'll just not worry about this now. Fortunately, it only takes about 10 minutes to replace this part. I would be a lot more upset if I had spent hours taking apart the dashboard to replace this part. I threw away the old part and all the packaging for the new part, so I'm not going to worry about trying to return this part.EDIT: It turns out that it still sort of works. I have to turn the control to the full heat position to get hot air. In the past, turning to heat control to half way was all the heat I ever needed. Now it is still blowing cold air with the heat control set to half way point. It works well enough for me.
