Church loves it.Highly recommend dishing out the coin for a stand that keeps instruments safe from harm.Using these about 5 years, no issues.

Bought this stand in Feb. 2023. I really liked it but had some minor issues right from the start. The plastic part where the locking screw goes in seemed very wiggly and loose. I also had to screw the locking screw in all the way, to where it couldn't go any further, for it to lock the pole. Then in June 2023, the gold screw hole piece that the locking screw goes in to popped out and I had 2 basses and 1 acoustic guitar take a tumble during a show. I contacted the company, explained what happen, and asked if they wanted pictures. They replied a few days later and said to send pictures so they could better assist me. After I sent the pictures, I never received a reply.Since then, I've done various things like superglue to put the gold screw hole back in place. It will hold for a while and then come out again, each time stripping the plastic piece more & more. Since the company never got back to me, I also don't know if there are any missing pieces that should be there. Now I've gone back to one of my old triple guitar stands that I don't like as much but at least it works properly.

The D&A Hydra is extremely stable and holds three guitars very securely. The quality of manufacturing is equally impressive. I have expensive guitars and basses and I only use D&A hangers and stands to protect my instruments.

This stand is amazingly stable, even with one guitar. You can intentionally try to knock it over, and it will right itself. However, there are a few things I don't like.1) It is $150 (before the carrying bag) and it is just a guitar stand.2) It is two pieces when disassembled.3) The height adjustments are plastic threaded pieces. They work well, but we'll see how well they hold up after a couple years of setup/teardown at shows.

This is a heavy-duty, well-constructed stand that seems very stable, with three heavy guitars or guitars of very different weights and sizes. The overall height of the three yokes and the back pads are easily adjusted, though all three back pads must be at the same height. The gravity lock mechanism works very well. Even works with a Fender Acoustasonic that has a very narrow head (barely wider than the thin neck). The only weakness I saw (which someone else mentioned) is the plastic hinges on the back support arms don't seem very robust, and might break if they get bumped the wrong way with a heavy guitar. This is more expensive than other stands, but a real bargain if you own expensive guitars, or any guitar that you care about and want to keep in good shape.

Buy one I love it. I wondered why it cost more than the others, because the D&A is made so much better. My pic shows the guitar holder up close, because I wondered how the clear plastic holders opened and nobody answered me correctly. When you press down on the top 1/2 (in my picture), the two clear plastic pieces close .The guitar weight is enough weight to close them, from outside to inside. The widest part is the legs, They are retracted easily in 3 seconds, Unscrew lock knob and pull legs down. You can also set legs 1/2 way out for a stand that isn't as wide, if in a tight spot. Taking off the 3 holders on top takes a little more time, maybe 20 seconds, buy is not hard to do. The 20 seconds involves unscrewing a large knob screw .No tools needed.

Comes in a really impressive box. Not that it matters? Sets up in a few minutes and you're ready to use it.Extremely sturdy whether it's just 1 or 3 guitars hanging. It doesn't topple over and it looks really awesome!I feel very confident that my guitars will be safe in this stand and I'll never have to deal with a broken neck one day. Consider this an insurance on your guitars.

Great quality, very functional. I chose this stand for many reasons but, primarily because D&A uses materials that won't ruin the Nitrocellulose finish on my Les Paul as another stand did. Because of the 6 legs, this stand is very stable. You do not have to worry about it tipping over as you remove guitars while the others are still on the stand. I also like the automatically closing neck guard. I have a guitar which tends to rotate on its' own while in other stands (due to non-symmetrical head shape). I've been afraid that someday this guitar will just rotate enough to fall out of other guitar holders. With this neck guard, this is no longer an issue. Worth the price.
