I LOVE this hose!!! I am a landscape designer and an avid gardener, I have hundreds of potted plants that need watering, daily in the summer, and I've gone through more hoses than I can count but this one is not only light but I can tell by the metal hosing inside will never LEAK, unlike my other ones! I will be getting a 100' one next for our front yard so I can cover my entire front area as needed.

So far I love this hose. I didn't think a hose could make my watering any easier but this hose does not get hung up and twisted or clamp up. you all know what I mean. So happy I invested in this hose! So far no leaking and it did come with a nozzle that I haven't tried yet because I've never seen one like it.

This hose is super lightweight and doesn't kink, but it can be tough to untangle. To untangle, you pretty much have to stretch the whole hose out and spin it whichever direction it takes to untwist it. The water pressure seems fine, despite other reviews saying that it's not. Sure, you won't get the flow out of it that you would out of a larger hose, but for car washing and plant watering, it's a fine hose! We'll see how well it lasts over time, but first impressions are great!

I wore out my old 100' kink-proof (no-kink / anti-kink / kink-less) hose that I kept on a hose reel and used mostly for washing cars in my driveway. I was not able to find the same kind of hose, so I searched online, and found this "Hydrosteel" brand "metal garden hose", and bought the 100' length.This being a metal reinforced hose, I was unprepared for how flexible it is. It is easily more flexible than any of the traditional garden hoses I have used. I can't feel any hint of metal in the structure.According to Hydrosteel, the actual hose is "rubber", but I don't see anything specifying the KIND of rubber. I rather doubt that it is natural rubber, so it might be vinyl, silicone rubber, etc; it is invisible inside the hose structure, but this is what actually carries the water (the metal outer structure is not wetted by the contents of the hose).The spiral (?) stainless steel reinforcing layer is also not specified by Hydrosteel. I am thinking that it is probably some kind of woven stainless steel wire, but the selling price of these Hydrosteel hoses is low enough, and shorter woven stainless steel hoses (e.g. washing machine and toilet tank hoses) are fairly expensive, so I wonder what kind of 'cute' thing Hydrosteel is doing here, out of sight. Regardless, it is quite 'floppy'-flexible, and I was not able to get the hose to kink by trying to bent it sharply.The outer layer of the hose is a woven synthetic fiber cloth sleeve, and apparently you can choose green, black, and maybe blue. The Hydrosteel website is not very clear regarding hose color options; just different pictures show different colors.My disappointment with this hose is that the inner diameter, where the water flows, is smaller that the inner diameter (ID) of any other garden hose I have; I was not able to measure the ID because the rubber hose is hidden behind the bulky 'handles' at each end, and behind the metal ferrules that reduce diameter from the hose fitting to the actual inner hose. Combine that small ID with a 100' length, and you will notice the reduction of pressure and flow. There does not seem to be a larger ID version available. I don't think I would consider this product for actual long hose runs in my lawn or garden, because I think sprinklers and such would under-perform due to reduced water pressure/flow. That does not bother ME too much, since I only plan to use this hose for car washing, where all the activity is what causes hose kinks in the first place.

I'm my mind this is a good garden hose, kinda pricey but I think it will last quite some time.

I bought 2 of these. I love that they really do not kink. (they "curl" a lot, but I can live with that)They're light weight. Which is important for a woman of my vintage. The hose itself seems durable. But I, too, am experiencing leaks where the hose end meets the hardware part. It's not a washer problem. I can see that it doesn't leak where that hardware meets any nozzles. The leak is under that 5 inch rubber thingy that helps make attaching the hose to a faucet or spray nozzle easier. I can't trouble shoot what I can't get too.

light weight and very flexible. the down side is that it can kink! mine did get twisted and was pulled too hard which did kink the inner metal spiral but was easily fixed with a pair of pliers and gentle persuasion.I bought a second one for my RV I like it that much.

After my as seen on tv hose sprung a leak, I decided to order a more heavy duty option. This 50 foot hose is heavy duty stainless steel and the total opposite of my previous hose. It’s kink free and keeps working even if knotted up. It also comes with a nozzle and is really lightweight and flexible. You know this hose is made to last when it comes with a 5 year guarantee unlike others. Great hose.

Aucune perte d'eau avec les connecteurs, s'enroule facilement pour un rangement.Plus lourd qu'anticipé dans la publicité du fabriquant mais on s'y habitue facilement.Quant à la durabilité, il faudra attendre pour en juger...Bonne qualité, je ne regrette pas mon achat.
