Pretty easy to use and it did work great, BUT I've had it for less than 2 months and barely any water is coming out of it. I clean it every week, including the sponge to remove all the nasty debris. Window to return is closed and now I have to buy something different.

There’s really nothing wrong with this filter. I got it for a 5.5 gal tank and when I put it in there’s not much space to the top of the tank. I have to keep the water filled up to almost to rim so this doesn’t stick out if the water. The waterfall effect is very big for the tank as well. The power of the stream of water is nice and my betta likes to play in the fast flowing water. It’s not noisy at all. Overall a good price for a decent filter, just a little inconvenient for my small tank.
