My kids think this is so fun to see the fish while they eat. I mainly just got it for the automatic feeder option. I don't have to worry about anyone forgetting to feed the fish. It's easy to set up and I still have yet to need to change the battery.

Insanely inconsistent. Can not rely on it. The chord comes off if you look at it too hard. All food except pellets jam up and you never know how much food is given. So I have to do it manually anyway. Tossed it!

Inicialmente lo compré para alimentar mis peces y poderlos ver cuando estoy fuera. No logro cumplir ninguna de las 2 expectativas1) El alimentador tiene errores de diseño, la comida se queda atascada en la mitad del producto cada 2 o 3 días toca retirarlo para limpiarlo2) la cámara es muy estática y tiene poco giro, por lo que es muy poco lo que se puede ver. Para completar de tanto mantenimiento que toca hacerle un pin se dañó al mes de uso (lo dejé desconectado y decidí alimentar a mis peces manualmente, cuando lo volví a encender vi que ya no servía)En conclusión es mucho más rentable comprar una cámara y un alimentador sencillo por aparte

Pros: Web cam to see fish basically whenever you want. Large food reservoir holds several days of food. Feeding scheduling through the app is easier than 3 button conventional feeders. Misfeeding notification. No batteries.Cons: Large Flake food is a bad idea, It will clog up the feeder quickly. Pellets, small pellets combined with crumbled flake food works better. Fine food will build up below the feeder, and will eventually need to be thoroughly cleaned.

This feeder was really easy to set up, and the camera feature is a lot of fun.I was ready to leave a positive review until I tested out the first feeding.Even using the "small portion" attachment... It dumps WAY too much food into the water.It's a baffling design flaw. The sensible thing to do would be to undershoot it since you can always set it to dispense more than 1 portion. This feeder simply is too much for small/medium tanks with lower amounts of fish. It's a shame.A quick fix would be for Hygger to make one more attachment to get truly small portions out of the hopper.

this is a great product, but there should be some sort of better dispensing while you are on the small setting, its releasing way to much

I bought this to use when I am out of town for the feeding. I assembled with the small feeding disc and tried it out. Too much food but I had only put a small amount in feeder. Went out of town and only fed once while away because it appeared to dispense almost all food in feeder. Messaged support within the app and never received a reply. Tried using support in Amazon and other than the troubleshooting, there doesn't appear to be support. I have chucked the feeder down in floor but left the camera installed because it is awesome to watch your saltwater tank whenever you want. Wouldn't give $5 for this crappy feeder. So disappointed with their support or lack of.December 2024Company sent a replacement feeder and it distributes less food than the first one I bought. This is a better device. Pleased with customer service.
