I am new to embossing folders and die cuts. But I knew adding texture to cards was something I wanted to do and this folder has helped add a new dimension to all my hand made cards for the upcoming season!!The folder is a very nice heavy duty plastic, I've used it over 50 times already and see no signs of warping or cracking.With my particular machine I use the base plate, the folder, the top plate and a discarded card I made (about 2 layers of thick cardstock) just to make sure I get a nice crisp emboss, and it works every time.I did need to play around with my sandwich before understanding what I needed to make it work, and you may have to do the same. But once you figure it out, there will be no turinging back!!The image is beautiful and could be used for all different kinds of cards which is ultimately why I bought it. An elegant touch to any card!!

The embossing folder fit my cuttlebug. I wanted to try painting the raised picture in gold. It is really quite spectacular.
