With over 50 years of experience to draw from, the new Performance Series models will raise the bar on what can be expected from an economical, entry-level instrument. The PC12MHCEOPN is a Grand Concert style acoustic/electric guitar with a Sapele top, back and sides done in an Open Pore Natural finish. Electronics include the Ibanez under-saddle pickup and the Ibanez AEQ2T preamp with built-in tuner. Other features include Laurel fretboard and bridge, chrome die-cast tuners and Ibanez Advantage Bridge pins to prevent string slippage and improve tuning stability.

Sounds fantastic. A nice bright sound and yet great bass tones. Unbelievable for the price! I play very nice guitars and I wasn’t expecting much from this one given the price point but I was very pleasantly surprised.

Super guitare, mon fils en est très content.Par contre le colis est arrivé dans un emballage très fragile avec un trous dans le carton.Heureusement le corps de la guitare ai resté intacte.

I brought this a birthday present for my husband and he loves it, I like the colour and it sounds nice I'm not really guitar savvy but he has quite a few and plays it loads so it must be good

Beautiful guitar and plays well right out of the box. I wanted to get back into playing guitar and this was perfect. Plays great, sounds great and is a good guitar for the money. Ibanez makes solid products and am very happy with my purchase.

This guitar arrived with a split on the fretboard. It was also nearly unplayable until it had a proper setup. Right out of the box it cost $150 to get it into playing condition.

Mein erster Eindruck ist klasse. Für den Preis unter 200 Euro bekommt man eine super Gitarre - mit Cut und Tonabnehmer. Ich sehe keine nennenswerten Schönheitsfehler. Keine Schäden nach Lieferung (das war meine Befürchtung.) Bespielbarkeit ist klasse. Tonabnehmer funktioniert gut. Stimmgerät integriert - funktioniert auch. Alle Saiten spielen sich in jedem Bund frei. Die Gitarre sieht etwas anders aus als auf dem Bild. Der Rand ist im Original nicht so deutlich bzw. die Übergänge zum Rand hin sind nicht hart/eher fließend. Insgesamt ein eher dunkelblauer Gesamteindruck. Ich hoffe, sie hält. Allerdings stinkt sie ganz schön, was wahrscheinlich am Kleber liegt. Das wird sich (hoffentlich) legen. Es ist keine Tasche dabei, auch Kabel und Gurt muss man noch dazu kaufen, also zusätzlich vielleicht 25 Euro. Das ist meine dritte Ibanez und bisher war ich immer (mehr als) zufrieden.

Sounds great unplugged. However I gave it 4 stars because when plugged in it tends to have a natural reverb sustain that's not bad but you need to work on amp and preamp settings to calm that down and then it sounded more mellow. I also think that when I put some good Martin strings on it will also make it more mellow. I wish it had the Sst preamp instead of the Ibanez brand which is inferior. However it's still a good guitar for the money and I will get it into shape for use at my gigs.
