The Ibanez RG421PB Standard 6-String Right-Handed Electric Guitar in Caribbean Shoreline Flat features mono-unit output jack which is made of solid, durable material and is a single piece to avoid unwanted movement and loosening of the jack, which leads to contact failure or disconnection. This innovation allows for long term playing enjoyment and minimal maintenance.

F106 Bridge and Jatoba Fretboard

The F106 bridge enriches sustain. String height adjustment can be done easily and independently. Jatoba has a reddish brown color which produces a rich mid range with a crisp high end.

Wizard III Maple Neck

Ibanez's thin, flat and fast Wizard neck is strong and sturdy and offers unlimited playability and features a two-octave 24-fret fretboard for a wide tonal range.

Quantum Pickups

The Quantum pickups provide accelerated bass response for exceptionally fast tracking of high-speed staccato riffing with crushing mid range and precise high-end articulation.

Controls

With the guitar held in the playing position, there is one knob and one switch along the lower edge of the body. Closest to the neck is the five-way pickup selector switch. Closer to the input jack is the tone knob. The volume knob is located right above the five-way pickup selector switch.

Bought this from musician’s friend. I own a Ibanez prestige as well. The quality of this guitar is fantastic for the price. The neck is typical Ibanez and ultra comfortable. It’s lighter than a finished guitar like a prestige. But all the comforts of an RG are there. I did have to adjust the action a bit but it’s because I changed the string gauge right when I got it and got 11s. Not sure if I want to change the pickups yet. On a clean channel the quantum pickups are bright and just a touch too thin for my liking. On an over drive or distortion pedal they sound very good. Love the look of guitar as well, looks more expensive than what you paid for. Overall highly recommend.

This guitar looks stunning! For the price it looks the part.this guitar has been great out of the box. It had slight first fret buzz that got worse over the first month. A slight truss rod adjustment and it’s back to new. Intonation is pretty good and the action was set up well.I am a beginner to intermediate guitar player. I have gotten complements from those that know much more then I do. I feel like this is a guitar that I can grow into that will not break the bank. So far this guitar has been perfect for me and have zero complaints.

My guitar came with a defect in the finish, like a run with a drop at the end. I thought it was actually something spilled on it (it was a previously returned item) and tried to just pick it off with my fingernail. The surface of the guitar dented in! There is no thick finish on this, which makes it look cool, but also makes it easily damaged. While the guitar is very great looking, the idea of a non-protective finish is not well suited to a guitar. The hardware is rather lackluster as well, but i've come to expect that any sub $700 guitar i buy will need new bridge, tuners, pickups at least.

The action needed a lot of work right out of the box. Lots of buzzing sound when strumming or picking. I had to mess with the truss rod to fix it and a beginner wouldn't know how to do that safely or have proper gages and tools.I had to oil the neck and it took a LOT of oil because it was so dry it absorbed a bunch. I would also recommend different pickups right away. It sounds alright, but not quite worth the $. New nut helps too. I think the nut was plastic and cheap before I replaced mine. For that price Schecter is building better quality guitars.Seller was fine and fast.

Ottima chitarra, non direi per principianti ma medium levevel. Ha un buon suono e l'elettronica fa bene il suo lavoro. Molto soddisfatto fin da subito, ora sono passati diversi mesi dall'acquisto.
