This polarizing filter helps reduce the amount of light hitting my eye, for observation of the Moon. Needed, otherwise the light intensity kind of blinds you.

Does a good job of providing variable polarizing filtration as needed. Threaded to eyepieces without difficulty.

Les filets sont parfaits et je n'ai aucune difficulté à le monter sur mes eye pieces, et ils assombrissent comme j'anticipais pour une observation de la lune à un prix abordable.

This works perfect. Big name brand not needed. Give the small company a shot. Moon looks perfect. Priced right. Some planets and clusters you may still want greens and blues. This is great for most everything including light pollution that I deal with. Buy it.

This polarizing filter fits a standard 1.25" eyepiece. Gave it to hubby for father's day and set it up to watch the moon at the next opportunity. It was incredible, it was if you could touch the moon and feel it's roughness. We could discern ridge edges, without the filter it had been like looking into a bright flashlight, couldn't discern anything. Nice add-on for a telescope owner.

I was amezed on how this filter works.I'm new to astronomy and everyone told me I need it, so I bought it. I wasn't disappointed.I tried to take some pictures of the moon through my telescope and it was too bright, I screwed this little thing on my eyepiece and boom image was corrected.Shipping was fast transaction went smooth. Very useful and could be an amazing gift together with a telescope. Thanks.

Twin Polarised lenses work well to vary intensity of reflected light from the moon reaching your eye. One mounted on the diagonal and the other on the eyepiece. Then just rotate the EP to desired brightness.

Still learning to use this filter but it works great for viewin the mom with various eyepieces. No instructions for use were included. I have tried it on individual eyepieces or on the diagonal. You have to remove either one to make adjustments but once set, you can comfortably view the various moon phases. Good value.

I give it 4 stars only because the threads are not cut really well so it isn't smooth adjusting or threading in. However, the image is very good considering the low price so it definitely earns 4 stars for that. I don't use it all the time but is very handy when viewing bright objects such as the moon to reduce eye fatigue.

It sorta works, however when it's near maximum it starts getting weird and makes the image pretty bad. I barely even use it, even though a full moon without it kills night vision completely.

I finally got a chance to use this filter the other night during a full moon and it was a lifesaver. I've used other moon filters before but they were just regular fixed filters with one darkness setting. Being able to adjust a filter like this really helps you match the relative brightness of the moon. The only downside is that with my 8" SCT telescope, you have to take out the eyepiece to adjust this filter then put it all back, but it's a minor complaint as the process only takes a few seconds. As long as you don't bump the actual tube and go off target you're fine. All in all I think this was money very well spent and great for those of us that do a lot of moon viewing.
