I like that they give me a sense of security when outside walking the dog. I live in MN so winter can be scary outside. They were easy to put on my shoes or Uggs. They are not the most attractive thing when using them. But the do stay on, they fit tight on my boots. You couldn’t wear them to a store the metal spikes are very noisy on concrete or ceramic/tile flooring. They stretch to super easy to remove or change to a different shoe.

Ordered these crampons to replace another pair that has gotten worn out. I use them when I'm snowblowing the driveway and walkways or when there is ice outside. Here's what I thought:1. These crampons arrived quickly and were identical to the pictures in the listing.2. They fit the same as others have and stay on my boots as well.3. The major difference between these and others I have used is in the rubber on the bottom where the studs are. Instead of smooth rubber, these have little pyramids in the rubber. That helps when walking on ice or compressed snow.4. After two weeks of sporadic usage, the studs are wearing just like all others I have used.In sum, these are okay crampons, made pretty much the same as others but with a more "grippy" bottom. Recommended.

The spikes have already worn down after just 2 months of wearing and without finding a way to tie them to my footwear they fall off.
