This part was an exact fit and all of the wiring on the board was in the same spots. All of the stand offs were right too. Installed and powered up the unit and it went great. Price was on point and arrived when they said it would.

Installed original Carrier board with this aftermarket in 2017... Good board and only giving the 3 stars because the board has now failed (bad relay) after 5 years, whereas the original Carrier board lasted over 20. I know, unit is old, but I'm cheap! This board is about $120 cheaper than the OE unit to help you decide, but the new Carrier boards are made in Chyna. This ICM is USA-made, but obviously with electronic bits sourced from Chyna. However, if you're just looking for a lower-cost alternative, as most high-end HVAC parts are now monopolized by the manufacturers to artificially inflate prices, this is the only way to go. Worked fine while it worked.

I bought my house 10 years ago, and the package unit on the roof started giving me issues. I suspected that the control board was going bad based on what I have read. My unit is from 1999. I was quoted over $1000 to replace the control board from a local company. Bought this from ICM and installed it in about 45 minutes. Everything came back to life and it has been working perfectly since this last winter. Including a picture of the old/new board

After searching around this was by far the cheapest option. I was a bit skeptical because it was so much cheaper than other places. I needed the board, because I needed heat. I decided to pull the trigger and purchase this board. So far its lasted all winter. This board fit perfectly into my system and has worked great ever since. As a side note I also had to clean the ignitor to get my unit back up. The shipping was super fast as well. I ordered on a Thursday and received the part Monday. I would definitely recommend this part if you know this is the part you need.

The burners on my my Carrier 48GS-036090301 were not igniting. It would start the inducer and gas flow but no ignition. I would hear some buzzing/clicks every few seconds. Alarmingly, the unit never stopped attempting this cycle. It kept spewing gas.I had called a service company beforehand. The service tech claimed I needed a new board ($650) and ignitor ($250) plus labor for over $1,000. He also tried very hard to convince me that I'd be better off replacing the entire unit for $5,000-$8,000. I figured attempting to replace the board myself was worth a shot. The burners ignited right away and everything worked properly after replacing the board. This replacement took about 20 minutes and was very easy. The connections on the new board are labeled identically to the old one, though the layout is different. I moved one wire at a time. It would have taken less time but I had a difficult time removing the largest white plastic connector from the old board. There were 3 tabs for this connector which had to be lifted open in order to remove it. This was nearly impossible with cold hands so I wound up snapping them off. The connector still didn't want to come off. I had to pry it up alternating sides with a flat screwdriver. The best part about this product is that the box and board are proudly maked MADE IN USA!!!
