Rotate the knob at the bottom of your tube cutter clockwise until it has a firm grip on the tube.

3

Wish I had bought this before a major plumbing job. I thought they forgot the spare blade then found it under the handle.

It's hard to buy tools in amazon many times I've bought items that look that will handle heavy use and instead I get miniature tools. With this one I was impressed well build and really sharp, sturdy made of metal and good to last a while

For starters, they seem to be decently constructed. No where near the quality of a comparable pair of Rigid cutters, but the best I have ever seen for the price. The product comes with 2 cutting wheels ( the second is under the handle screw ). I don't know if other brand wheels will fit it, but at the price of $12 I would just as soon buy another cutter.I waited a few days to review. I've been using them to cut 1/2" and 3/4" Type L Copper Pipe. They worked great. No tracking or egging and the reemer works as intended. I don't know if I would trust them to cut stainless tubing, but I will try them out next chance I get.Only 2 negative points here, but they were expected. The 2 screws in the picture are cheap metal, so when you tighten them use the proper sized Phillips screwdriver or they will strip. Don't tighten too hard. Also, both screws were loose when I received the cutter. Make sure to tighten them before use. They may also loosen a bit as you use them. All in all a great purchase. Don't drop them, strip the screws, or over tighten them on copper, and they can easily be a daily tool for trade work and great for DIY if you don't want to fork out the money for a big name brand like Rigid or Lennox.
