Solidly made, worked well. Maybe not yet best choice for everyday work, but excellent for an occasional job!

I would have preferred that electric hand tool for the job, but the prices on those are expensive for a home D.I.Y person. This tool is far cheaper and I had high hopes for the auto-rotating head, but it does not seem to function as well as described.Never having used one of these I may not have enough grease on the head, or possibly too much grease on the head. Still have some more pex to run, so I will try more/less as I move forward to see if it helps the rotation or not.

I bought this over a year ago and it works great. I have used it many times. One important note: It tends to over-expand the connections so they take a while to seal. I have had more than a few 1/2 connections that leaked at first and didn't fully seal until more than an hour later. Once they seal, however, the connections are fine.

Everything you need to fasten expansion pex. All wrapped in nice portable Hardcase

The tool works great for a small number of pex fittings. Expanding 1" pex with this tool took about every ounce of strength I have. After using this I invested in a battery-powered tool to make my life easier.

This is a great tool for Plumbers, everyone should have one just in case you need to do some quick repairs. This makes those repairs go very quickly. Good quality and I definitely recommend them.

I did about 100 expansions in two days. It's a good workout. Two things:1. For 1/2'' fitting you have about 3 sec, 3/4'' - 5 sec to properly insert the fitting. Have to be quick and agile. Better to have a helper.2. Some places were tight and hard to reach, so not a lot of leverage or space to expand the arms. Had to assemble some legs on the desk and then connect the whole ensemble.Overall, great tool. Of course, some battery powered tool is easier to use, but the price is 3 times higher.p.s. Previously I asked the question, if the tool has auto-rotation or not. It does, it's just hard to observe, but it does.

I wish I can find the tubing for this. the pex system is broken into different category's. the Pex-a style is the best.
