This seems a pretty high quality tool. Hopefully I'll never never use it and even if you're a pro, you shouldn't be using this dozens of times a day. That makes the quality construction likely to last a very long time. I practiced on one ring cutting and it can be a bit fiddly for sure, but only 1% as fiddly as using some kind of hand knife. It's good peace of mind when putting together a PEX system. Mistakes aren't going to stop you until another trip to the store for another fitting, or a painful surgery with a razor blade.

J’adore les pinces vraiment pratique pour couper les bagues qui dit d’utiliser seulement sur fittings de brass mais j’ai essayé sur plastique et sa fonctionne aussi bien

Works great on ¾” fittings. I tried it on some ½” valves and the anvil would not fit into the ½” valve opening to cut the expansion ring off.

Total game changer in saving fittings and money. Not to mention the possibility cutting ones self in the process of using razor blades. Effortless removal.

Just used this item, backed into a corner on time and some electrical work swooped in under the cover of darkness and forced me into a corner and a change. This tool saved the day.In use, it takes very little effort to use. They state to only use on brass fittings, not the plastic ones.If you are very gentile and don’t quite cut all the way through on the pipe, you can’t score the fitting. If you do, you’re likely to have a leak.Go easy and pry the last few thousands of an inch apart with a screwdriver, not touching the fitting, and you are likely to be able to reuse that plastic fitting.Ilikeit.

It’s very easy to use and quick! I’m installing pex and a friend messed up a few fitting so this worked out great to get the pex off.
