Used with a BTR cam kit for aftermarket valve seals with dual valve springs on my LS7. Worked great, easy to use for a novice, didn't tear any seals, motor doesn't burn oil

I read the reviews that warned the tool has aluminum flakes left over from machining. I inspected it before using and it looked clean. Lo and behold, flakes made their way down the valve guide the first time I used it (!). Be sure to use some sort of liquid to thoroughly clean the inside of the tool before using. Other than that it worked well.I noticed that, in my case, if the valve is inserted and your seal uses a small spring to maintain a tight fit, the spring will likely get damaged. Remove the spring or valve before tapping the seal in place.

After trashing my first set of 11/32 metal shelled viton seals trying to use a socket I bought this tool on a whim. With the garter spring removed this tool fits the seal perfectly and shoulders on the shell. Don't forget to put the springs back on the seals!

This works great for me, I was attempting to install seals with the old socket trick and it was tearing them up. This tool fixed the problem. Take the springs off the seal when using it (then put them back)!
