Your cart is empty.MEASURE FROM INSIDE THE WINDOW TRACK! The Ideal Flexible Flap Side Sliding Window Insert is just like a patio insert for sliding glass doors; but made shorter for vertical windows. The top of the unit is spring loaded to give you a 2.5" adjustment range for easy fitting and removal. A locking pin is included that you may install on the frame of your sliding window. Most customers use a small stick behind the window in the track instead as they do not wish to install any hardware. All weather stripping is included as well as a bug protector (draftstopper) that is installed to cove the gap created when the window insert is installed.

It arrived 20x faster than anything I have ordered from Amazon in the past few years. Also, I think it took me longer to read the instructions than it did to install the cat door which is a first for me. Seems sturdy. I didn’t install the window lock but as you can see from my photo it’s not a necessity for me. It came with some weatherstripping, which was a nice touch, but I think I’ll buy some more for the outside. Now I just need to get my cats to figure out how to use the door.

The window works well for a in and out for the pets. The item didn’t come with enough weather strip for the window of the size we bought. Contacted the seller but almost a month, I don’t get a tracking for the weather strip, the seller told me that has been sent.

It is very nice quality and quickly delivered. It only took a couple of minutes to install and there is weatherproofing material supplied. The only reason I did not give it five stars is there is a small gap at the top of where the door opens that would let air in. I put some weatherproofing on it and the door still swings freely so hopefully that took care of it. It is pretty good, easy to install, and makes the cats happy. The locking mechanism on the door does not look all that sturdy, but it works. I am happy with the purchase.I have had it installed for 2 days now. I locked the door so I could make the cat stay in this morning and he got out anyway. I think he moved the knob that locks it or just pushed it so hard that it opened. He is a strong cat and it took him a while to do it, but the locking device is not all that effective if your cat really wants out.

Nice construction, easy to install in seconds without tools. Fit perfectly. Still training my cat to use it though, that’s why the door is taped in the open position in the picture.

Great cat window, fits perfectly and works perfectly to let cats in and out of the catio and to keep cold and heat in. Only downside is that the visible weatherstripping provided did not match the color of the window. I can buy the right color from their website for another $5, but would prefer the right color be provided with the window to begin with. Seems a no-brainer.

Recently moved into a new apartment, needed some way to have a cat door without making a hole trough the balcony door. This was the ideal solution, easy to install, very straightforward and good quality in my opinion.The cat is still figuring out that she can go trough the window, but little by little she’s getting better at using it.Much easier than making a hole trough the door, specially for a rental where that is not ideal. Measured from the inside of the window frame, then got the according size.
