I did an overhaul on my 03 trx250tm recon and even though I didn't "need" this part i decided to go ahead and swap this too. On first start up I could easily tell it push a bit more fire through plug. Old plug uncleaned had a very prominent spark. New plug even better. The design of the coil is a little bit different but it is actually a better design than the oem. Easier to get to mounting bolt on this one vs oem.
