Regarding the Seller: I had three questions before I bought the jacket - posted them online at different times. Only the Seller responded and the Seller's response each time was almost immediate. Of all the times I've posted questions about a particular product, this was the first time I received a response from a Seller.Regarding the jacket - the jacket is heavy and the material seems to provide an excellent block against the wind. I wore it at Yellowstone when the temperature was -10° and used it as a layer underneath a longer coat without any additional bulky layers underneath the jacket. Even without the heat turned on I was sufficiently warm. Setting the heat to low, I was quite toasty at -10°.I have worn the jacket as an outer garment with a sweater underneath in temperatures ranging from as low as 23° and it provided sufficient warmth using the heat set to high. The only downsides I can find are that I have not been able to get the hood comfortably snug against my head and the battery may not last as long as described without needing to be recharged.

This is up there as one of my best purchases from Amazon. I am not accustomed to working outside especially during the coldest windy snowy days for long hours so when I volunteered for this event I was a little concerned. It just snowed, temps were below freezing and the winds were relentless. I purchased this black jacket a few days from the event and it arrived ahead of schedule. (Thank you Amazon and USPS).The jacket is not puffy or bulky so it was great with layering with thin thermals. The instructions for the heating element were easy to learn. The battery was easy to charge to 100% in a few hours. There are several outer and inner pockets to secure items and even a convenient one for the battery. There are two usb ports on the battery for charging other items. The indicator light I thought was very cool in front; red, white and blue. They should advertise this jacket as a windbreaker (people around me were complaining about the wind but I didn’t feel it). The jacket did such a great job I didn’t even need the heating element unit around 8-9 pm. I was not able to test the full functionality of the battery as I only needed the lowest setting. And yes, it does come with a Velcro patch of the US flag.The only con I have is that I was sweating, nothing heavy. I was walking around much of the day which of course contributed to the perspiration. But that day I had 99 problems but being cold was not one of them.

I would have given this jacket a 5 but it gets a 4 b/c I bought a small and really need a XS which isn’t an option. The directions don’t really tell you how long to plug your battery in to know if it’s fully charged or what it does up to …. Charge it overnight.Dont run away just yet! This jacket DOES work wonders! I was at the Mi/ Mi state game and saw a girl in it she was warm and I without at the time FREEZING! I work in the office and have to go outside in the shipping area a lot this jacket keeps me warm in both work locations. It’s so great I bought one for my son who works in the elements. My mom even bought one for herself after seeing mine and trying it on. I’m 5’2” she’s 5’6” we both wore a hoodie and I still had room.The pockets I get SO many compliments on how many pockets this jacket has and how useful they must be and are. The jacket is a little heavy so do keep that in mind. It’s not bad but you can definitely tell.

I was very excited to receive the coat and when I went to use it , I was disgusted. It is not comfortable, the targeted heating spots did not elevate to keep me warm, even on high in 56 degree weather. The velcro on the hood was malfunctioned because the manufacturer put the same type on both side: hence, it would not attach to keep the hood on. My dog has a heated coat that is better , I was actually wishing I was him walking with me , he looked warm and comfy, I was miserable.

Bought because I ride a motorcycle year round.Pros:- Very comfortable- Blocks wind well and rain perfectly- Small Fits tall person with broad shoulders well.- Back gets nice and warm- Neck heating is a very welcome and nice feature! Also warm- Big Velcro area on wrist to secure around small wrists- sides cinch through bottom pulls- strong zipperCons:- Battery dies within 2 hours of use.(20 minutes on high, then in low for the rest of the time.)- The chest area doesn’t get very warm even when not riding on high and chest barely feels like it’s on on High and off when medium and low. (Unheated Pant pockets are warmer)- Battery is right where pockets are and it’s chunky which is near direct heat.- Lower back (butt feature) doesn’t heat/can’t tell it’s on.- Hood has a HUGE iHood logo in bright white and is tacky (opinion.)Review text:So this jacket actually fits my full arm and body length and shoulders comfortably, as well as falls to where a jacket it supposed to (right below belt line). I am a women’s small in body, but a large in shoulders and length, so it’s not really “butt warmers” but rather lower back and the back is really between shoulder blades/near heart area.I sadly might be returning this due to the lack of heat in the chest area and pockets (doesn’t warm my half-frozen hands or even mildly hold hands from AC). If the check got as warm as the top back area I’d keep it despite the butt area not heating (well) and battery issues. I get that it’s likely working hard to get that high temp when riding so benefit of the doubt for the battery.Also, I wear a motor jacket over it that also has a wind/warm-ish liner.I hope they have another one with the neck, chest, back, and pockets like the V-branded one because the fit and comfort are superb.
