This front rotor is really pretty first off. I'm assuming you would order this for the looks and it definitely delivers. It looks great and the anodized rainbow finish really catches the eye. It also works well on my Surron. I installed this on the front wheel of my Surron light bee and it works great. If you order the 203mm version, it will fit stock. I wouldn't recommend going any smaller than 203mm for the Surron front wheel.Theoretically the floating rotor design should have better heat dissipation. Personally I've never overheated my rotors but it never hurts to improve thermal performance a bit. The floating rotor also just looks cool so that's a plus. It feels solidly connected and I'm quite happy with the build quality. It also comes with some new rotor bolts but I ended up keeping my original bolts since they seemed a bit beefier. The included bolts come with some thread locker which is a nice touch. You definitely need to use thread locker on the rotor bolts.Overall I would recommend this front rotor for your surron. If you don't want to mess with changing rotor size and getting new spacers, this is a great option that will fit with the stock Surron brakes. Just make sure you order the 203mm version or it won't fit stock. The looks are great and I'm super happy with how it looks on my bike. Very cool flashy rotor.

For sure, the rainbow colors will wear off very fast. Whatever, it's ok. It's a joy to put them on. And there will be parts of it that are not part of the braking surface that will not degrade immediately.New brake pads break in well with these. After installing these and putting in some light braking to bed them in, no complaints. They bite well, and even if they don't get any better, I am fully confident they will stop. Not that they will get any worse before they wear out all the way.

First off, I'm a sucker for anything oil slick colored, so from a styling perspect this is an easy win for me. I actually have a similar style rotor in a smaller size, and when this came available I decided to throw it on the front wheel so they could match. No regrets so far. It was perfectly true right out of the box and after a few trips down a long hill near my house to break it in the stopping power is exactly what I expect. One thing to keep in mind with these colored rotors is that the color will wear off on the actual braking surface. With this one in particular there's still a ton of colored metal left so it looks great either way, but I have seen people surprised by that so I wanted to mention it.

The brake surface is of lower quality than even the cheapest of Shimano rotors. I washed my bike and went out and these started squealing immediately. None of my other rotors did that in one wash. The squealing stopped after a few minutes but it was surprising.I used this rotor with Ultegra R8000 series caliper with resin pads and braking performance is okay. It must need some time before it hits optimal performance level but out of the box, performance is below average. The golden accent is nice though and seems like it will last long.Apart from that color I really do not see a reason to choose these over Shimano.

I got this before noting it was the wrong part, my own fault. That said it was a great disk. Nice thickness and quality build.

I got these to replace a surface-rusting set of Avid rotors, but have had to give up on them for now.It may be the cheap Amazon fork that I am mounting it too, but at least in my application, the center colored "floating" mount is too thick to clear between the brake mounting posts and the rotor body. It rubs ever so slightly, but noticeably. Would drive me crazy. Maybe on a different (better) fork, things would fit a little better, but I can't help but feel that these are trying to look cool without really fully understanding fitment and usage, which doesn't give me a ton of trust to the other tolerances and design choices... We'll see if I can test it on another cheapo bike...

I liked several things about this brake disc. The floating look, the cool colors and the hardware included gives you everything you need. The installation was a pain and took some trial and error to get the placement just right. They are pretty light and durable and I definitely noticed an improvement in braking power. If you can get these on correctly, they are cheap way to upgrade your discs.
