I bought it for 2012 Civic and the switch is too small and it falls right thru the dash. Double check size before buying.

The item fit was a little different but overall it fit in spot and works great.

I installed fog lights on my 2007 Highlander, which did not have them. This switch fit right into the dash opening perfectly. The only thing to note is that the illumination doesn't match the rest of the instruments, (it is more yellowish, vs. green), but I can live with that.

Nice quality switch. It will work until I receive the next size recommended.

Prerequisite: A wiring harness that has an inline fuse and a relay to turn the load (lights in my case) on/off. The relay will be actuated using the switch. The load should not be connected directly to the switch.Note: I wanted to utilize the full functionality of the switch, including separate illumination of both the amber LED backlights (yes, I disassembled it to make sure that these are LEDs and not incandescent as some other reviewers had suggested). My wiring harness from Lasfit came with a switch with separate LEDs for on/off states. There were 3 wires going into the switch from the relay, Yellow, Red and Black.Wiring guidance:Yellow: This provides power to the switch to turn the relay on/off. I connected this to an ACC power source using a fuse tap. So the switch would only work when the vehicle is in accessory mode or the engine is turned on, and prevents accidental battery drain.Blue: This should be connected to the relay and actuates the relay. In other words, it takes the power from the Yellow wire and transmits to the relay, which is then turned on when the switch is depressed.Red: This is the power source for the backlight of the fog light logo in the switch. i connected this to my "Panel" power source using a fuse tap. So the backlight turns on along with the rest of the switch backlights on the dashboard.Black: This should be connected to Ground or the negative terminal of the battery. In my case, I wanted to use the existing wiring that connected the Lasfit switch to the relay. So I cut off the wire a couple of inches before the switch and connected the new switch to the wires by crimping butt connectors.Yellow of wiring harness sources power directly from the battery and is not connected to anything.Red of wiring harness sends power to the relay for actuation. I connected this to the Blue cable of the new switch.Black is Ground, so I connected the Black wire from the new switch to this.

Says by the car filters and description that it fits my car (2003 Honda Civic Lx coupe) but unfortunately it doesn’t fit well enough. The one I had, which came with the fog lights kit, was a perfect snug fit into the receiver ends of the switch, but it broke due to some car scent juice going into it. I replaced it with this unit thinking it would be nice and easy to replace, but I realized that it wasn’t a perfect snug fit anymore. It holds up well enough but it’s loose.

Amazon said it doesn't fit my truck but I measured the holes and knockouts and took a chance. Fits perfectly. There are 4 wires and the description is a bit silly so here's what you do:black goes to groundblue goes to your light's control wire. Now, the yellow wire is the one that turns your lights on. The instructions say to hook this up to a 12v always on source. I didn't do that, I hooked it up to a 12v ACC (key on) source. The red wire is for the little image led light - the fog light picture. You can either leave this unhooked up or gang it with the yellow.I wouldn't hook a 12v constant power line (generally the yellow line behind your radio) up to this switch. Seems a bit sketchy. Just my opinion though.
