I bought this item for my 2016 Civic Touring's third brake light. It's cool and whatever but doesn't quite live up to expectations.Installing it was extremely easy, open your trunk, remove the old, stick in the new one.It strobes 5 times and then stays solid, the strobe sequences are a bit long, it'd probably be better if it ran only like 3 times and then stayed solid.The brightness of the bulb is what really leaves much to be desired. The bulb's LEDs don't really do a good job reflecting their light in the housing, therefore you can't really say that it makes your 3rd brake light more visible at all during a sunny day, same issue during night time.

This flashing brake light is absolutely awesome! It should be great in the fog or the wake up the idiot texters! I totally love this bulb, it even looks super cool! Very well worth the 18 bucks!

Just bought these and had them for a year with no problem.Got pulled over and didn't know that California law states that blinking brake lights are illegal UNLESS it blinks no more than 4 times in 4 seconds.[California vehicle Code 25251.5](c) Any stoplamp or supplemental stoplamp required or permitted bySection 24603 may be equipped so as to flash not more than fourtimes within the first four seconds after actuation by application ofthe brakes.Unfortunately, these blink 5 times.

Worked in my 2019 civic sport 3rd/brake light. Flashes 5 times and then stays on while brakes are compressed. Worked as stated. Not sure about longevity yet but has worked for about a week now. Plug and play with no error codes issues on the dash.

I purchased this to replace my third brake light. I liked the strobe / flashing feature. Will probably increase the safety and prevent getting rear-ended from the car behind. It makes three sets of flashes before it stays constantly on. I would probably prefer just one set of flashes and stay on. Overall it seems like its good quality. I took off one star because the price is kind of high for what it is.

Received item 6 days early! Works perfectly and fits like oem! A+++ itemUPDATE, started acting funny when it got to cold, still does sequence but when it gets to to the end and it's all lit up it's blinks on one side, ordered replacement

This bulb is worth every penny spent on it.It's bright and the strobe-like flashing will definitely be noticed.I bought this to increase safety when braking, and after seeing it in action, I'm convinced that if I need to brake quickly, on the highway, whoever is behind me, will notice.

UPD 3/6/2022Still works fine!Having had unseccessful experience with third brake light strobe bulbs for Honda Civic 2018, I was very skeptical about ordering another one. All previous bulbs didn't fit in the socket all the way making them too long to fit in the third brake lens. However, this bulb did fit properly and I had no issues locking this bulb in the lens! It also works properly with 5 strobes following by a steady red solid light. I will see how long it lasts and update. I'm thinking of ordering one more, just in case.Safe driving to you all!
