I ordered it after open heart surgery. I’m a size 14 and neither the large or xtra large fit me. It might just have been that my ribs were too painful for anything though. I ended up wearing a very tight T-shirt for a month. I wouldn’t buy anything with a zip as the last thing you want is it digging in the scar!

I had a Reverse Shoulder Replacement done in January and have had a lot of pain in my pectoral muscle, into my arm pit and ribs. I wear a 38D bra so my new shoulder had a bit of weight to try to support. It's also been impossible to wear a bra because any compression just makes it worse. It's also caused snapping scapula because my shoulder just doesn't land right.I purchased this in hopes that it would take the pressure off, stabilize my arm pit and it worked!!!I'm wearing it over a T-shirt and it's giving me relief and taking the weight off my ribs, upper back and neck.I'm certain it would be just as effective for men.
