I was skeptical. Well, I am always skeptical. Everything seems to be "wish" or "temu" garbage these days. What I bought from Ikpek was exactly what the description said it would be. What's more impressive is that the parts were well packaged and even the tools that were included had a higher quality than most. There is a learning curve the first time you do the work, but everything fit perfectly and worked like a charm. I was a little displeased that the kit did not come with the actual thumb sticks, and just the guts/tools, but it was a trivial matter for the price and not worth dropping a star off of the review.

Purchased these 2 days ago and arrived today. Just replaced my Rift-S thumbsticks. THEY WORK PERFECT!Seems not a lot of people know you can't swap these out.I happened upon ONE thread where one person said they tried it and they work.Well, I can confirm. If you have drifting Rift-S thumbsticks, THESE WILL FIX IT! Quest 2 thumbsticks DO WORK!Just be prepared for aggravation and sore fingertips...the operation isn't easy. But it is DEFINITELY worth it!They're straight up 1 to 1 replacements. You don't have to modify anything. It's the disassembly and reassembly that is so hard.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Very disappointed with this product!!First of all, all 4 actuators were faulty, and showed some kind of an issue, either drifting or not responding to the certain sides.Very annoyed that I had to waste so much time replacing all 4 units just to be back where I started - with a slight drift of my original piece.And to top it all off, I decided to replace one of the original screws that had a slight damage on it with one of the included screw, just to have it snap with a minimal force, so now I have a broken screw....You might be thinking that you are getting a great value here, but save your time and money!

Youtube video for the controller tear down, follow along, keep screws organized individually, make diagrams, its simple but better for you to REALLY understand what you're doing, and to take your time and create as much notes/reference material as you can while dissembling the controller.

Joystick worked a treat, Doesn't have a T4 torx screwdriver though which is required. apart from that it works

The Oculus joystick replacement is a solid option to revive your VR experience. It's straightforward to install, and the build quality seems decent, promising durability.The improved precision and responsiveness are noticeable, enhancing gameplay immersion. It's great to have a functioning joystick again, making navigation in virtual worlds much smoother.However, I can't give it a full 5 stars because it the included tools are still inadequate - one screwdriver is just too large when taking off the circular grip. Would have been nice to have a shorter one.Despite this minor drawback, it's definitely a worthwhile purchase if you need to replace your Oculus joystick. It breathed new life into my VR adventures, and I'm satisfied with the overall performance.

My daughter received an Oculus Quest 2 for her birthday 2021. Within 6 months, she was "drifting" to one side within the VR world. I figured it was gunk inside, but she insisted the issue was mechanical. The new controller would have run $70 or $80. I cannot remember, but I was hard pressed to pay it. I was so happy to find these joysticks, and for the reasonable price of about $20. The package came with a little screwdriver with multiple tips (stored inside itself) that has been helpful with other little projects. I found a video on YouTube to walk me through the replacement process. I was a bit nervous because a few controller pieces need to be pulled on so much it feels like they might break. But with care, it shouldn't be an issue. I felt like a pro by the time the second controller's joystick was changed. I ended up changing both since I had the second new one anyway.

let me start by saying I've been dealing with the stick drift for about a month. I've become so used to it I'm able to still play with it but it is a bit annoying. I've tried everything! Zeroing in the joystick did not do anything at all. It was only my left controller. Looking online I found thisI had found a video on youtube, about 5 minutes showing how to do it. It's pretty simple just don't lose the screws! And keep track of where you took them out of.Is drawing a simple diagram of the top of the remote, and actually push the screws through the paper to hold them in place so I knew exactly where they came fromWorks perfect! Just like new. I was worried I was going to have to buy a new controller. They're like $150 new! That's crazy SMH. It would have force me to just get an upgraded system since I'm going to have to buy a new one anyway. But this work perfect. Came with the tools for it and everything. Just take it easy getting the face plate off around the buttons as there is an adhesive. Also the ring that goes around the controller has a little bit of glue. Just take it easy! Don't break anything

Arrived on time and all the components of the kit worked well. Would have like the thumbsticks to be in their own box as they could easily have been snapped in transit but luckily all OK this time
