My daughter wanted this sleeve for her bat to protect it from unnecessary scratches. It works well, and makes sense because the composite bat prices these days are outrageous. It fits the bat fine and also is not too big to also slide into a bat holder on her bag. This is a good product for anyone looking to protect their investment.

Hard to fit on larger bat barrels (2 /5/8), and then impossible to fit in bat bags. Not bad for loose bats though.

I don't know if these things actually protect the bats or not but if I can spend $12 and keep her bats alive for a little longer I'm ok with that! They definitely have some insulation properties to them. The add an extra layer of cushion and abrasion resistance in the bag... why not spend a little extra to keep these $400 bats looking nice.
