About this item

  • VERSATILE DUST COLLECTOR - The iLiving high-performance air filtration system can be ceiling hung with hooks and chains or portable on wheels. iLiving understands the importance of a space-saving and clutter-free workshop with the chain-hanging system. The dust filter system can also be jet around on wheels on set on a benchtop to clean the air where dust is being produced.
  • 2-STAGES FILTRATION - The two-stage filtration process removes a range of micron particles quickly and quietly. The outer filter removes the larger particles up to 5 microns, while the inner 3 pockets filter will trap the smaller particles up to 1 micron. The iLiving AF8000 will clean most of the dust and debris resulting in better air quality in the workspace.
  • POWERFUL AND DURABLE - The iLiving filtration system sports a totally enclosed motor with 1/3 HP. The ball-bearing motor with overload protection cranks the 10" blades wheel and creates a cyclone of suction extracting all the dust in the air. The anti-dust system is encapsulated with steel housing for maximum durability.
  • HIGH PERFORMANCE AND EFFICIENT - The air purifying system is powered by single-phase 110 to 120 Vac, 60Hz, with a max power consumption of 265W. 3 adjustable speeds and built-in timers for all necessary operations. Low speed at 720 CFM with 55dB, Mid speed at 870 CFM with 60db, and Max speed at 1025 CFM and 70dB.
  • CUSTOMER SUPPORT - Local customer support to address all questions and concerns, 1-800-317-1688. The product is safety-certified UL/cUL Listed.

I love value. This is a value product. The ability to filter versus the price is great. It is overkill for my large garage, but I have noticed I am getting old. Dust really bothers me a lot more these days, and now that we know how toxic wood dust can be, these are important.I think this will last a long time. It is built like a tank and is heavy. Get help or rig up something to hang it. Don't try to heft this from a ladder by yourself up into the rafters. You'll want it up high also to minimize noise. It's not whisper quiet, and I wouldn't want to here this thing next to my head for hours on end.The fitration is excellent and when the sun shines right I can see the dust move on this thing from quite a distance. I am impressed. I recommend this product. If I experience issues, I will update my review.

This air cleaner is the best! It's not your home DIY-duty air cleaner. If I get to grade it, it's a super-duty air busting machine!I install this in my 3-port garage where 1/3 of the space is used to run a ceramic coating operation for automotive exhaust coating work. And before this unit, I run a 400 bucks WEN system. While the WEN system does do its tricks cleaning the air, in comparison to this iLiving unit, WEN is dwarfed in magnitudes. Similar to other cleaners, this unit has 3 speed settings, a timer function, and a remote control. But what this thing does that others don't is in its air flow rate. This thing advertises to move over 1,000 cfm of air. What that means I really don't know, but I do know for sure that plugging this unit in replacement of the WEN unit yields a massive difference in air volume being moved. And for my 3-port garage, this unit is an overkill. I had to use the lowest speed settings just to keep it from going too fast. I have a particle collector filtration wall that I set up for the ceramic coating application in which a LPHV spray gun is used. And a whole lot of atomized paint mist can be floating around. The particle collector is what I've built to vector the air into the filtration wall, and behind this wall I have it funneled to the air cleaner. This thing just hauls ass when it comes to moving air. By the way, there is a very distinctive noise level difference amongst the different fan speeds. Running it at lowest speed setting gets a very quiet hum. The highest speed setting yields a very loud background noise, enough to compete with my California Super-quiet air compressor.Ovearll, I'm very satisfied with this unit. This unit is quite heavy to lift and put in place, but that's because of the material being used to build this unit. Everything is heavy and thick, just super grade material. I expect this thing to last very long judging from how sturdy the build quality really is. 5-stars deservingly.

This air filtration is ideal for a garage, shop, etc. It is great for woodworking or working with resin models. The unit can be put on wheels, or it can be hung. Hanging it is ideal, but it does weight 70lbs which makes it more difficult to do so. It does have a remote. You can set it on a timer, but I don't use the timer or see much point personally. It plugs into a 110 outlet and runs at 2.2amps which is really not a lot of power draw. It features 3 speeds at 720 CFM 870 CFM 1025 CFM and registers at 70Db at its highest speed but in a shop, it's not going to make much difference in noise level. The filters are rated to take care of 5 microns on the inner and 1 micron for the outer filter. So, the unit is going to take care of most dust and what not in the air. Keep in mind this unit is not designed to filter nonmetallic dust so this would not be good for a metal working shop. Filters are made to come out and be cleaned. They could be knocked out or sprayed and dried but no clear instructions on cleaning them. I couldn't find anywhere to get replacement filters which is inevitable at some point if you use this a lot, so I'm guessing contacting the manufacturer would be the best option concerning those. Overall, this works great for woodworking, not good for metal working. Filters could be an issue replacing eventually; may have to contact manufacturer directly as I couldn't find them for purchase anywhere. That being said, as long as you're pulling out the filters and cleaning them regularly, they would last a while before having to replace.
