We select only the 1% of the finest Arabica coffee beans, thanks to many years of collaboration with growers who place maximum importance on quality and sustainability. Researching and experimenting with raw materials is a journey that never ends. After processing, the beans undergo a meticulous selection to ensure zero defects: even a single imperfect Arabica coffee bean can compromise the aroma of our blend. We preserve and enhance the aromas through our patented pressurized cans. Patented in 1934 by illy, pressurization is a preservation system in which the air in the tin is replaced by an inert gas at a pressure greater than that of the atmosphere. In this way, not only is the freshness of our coffee maintained, but its aroma is also enhanced.

If you love a great cup of coffee try Illy. It doesn't gripe your stomach as some coffee's can. Very smooth flavor. I add cream and sugar to mine and you still taste the coffee.

I love this better than Starbucks dark roast very tasty very mild I recommend getting this I wish they had a 32 or 48 pod box it would make it very easy to purchase that way instead of buying 10 at a time.

Illy coffee is some of the best I have found. However, Amazon used a paper package to ship the coffee. The coffee box was very damaged open arrival. A small box should have been used.

Tried this intense roast for the first time, and I'm so happy with it. I've became a fan of dark/bold roasts, and this one doesn't disappoint. It's got "body" and slightly but pleasantly bitter. Not espresso, and a great daily coffee choice. Good pricing from Amazon, too.

This happens to be one of my favourite coffees…well any coffee from Italy is exceptional. It is alittle expensive per pod so I save for special times. Enjoy…I know I sure do.
