The first unit would not connect to my ILS Gig Move Bar and I had to exchange it for a new one. The replacement worked, but not without major issues. One of the key features is the "follow-spot" control. It is very intermittent and I spent hours trying to troubleshoot. Although the problem has not been solved, I can still control with DMX. This product was promoted to be better than DMX, but I'm sorry to say that if they don't fix this issue, I'll be forced to go back to DMX.

Great product, horrible delivery time. Despite it being in stock the entire time I ordered it until it shipped almost a MONTH after ordering it. I hooked it up to a pair of mini kinta ILS and it works quite well.

I purchased this to control a Chauvet DJ 4BAR Flex Q lighting system, but the Integrated Lighting System Command is not well integrated with other Chauvet DJ devices. It sort-of worked over a DMX cable but didn't not bring the 4BAR lights to full intensity. It did not work at all using D-Fi USB. The documentation is poor, especially not describing how to configure D-Fi.

If you want to control a gig bar go for it for everything else it is to basic unless you want to only light up a stage one color.I like the idea and I don't like to bring my laptop all the time. The Bluetooth is limited so I had high hopes.Easer than DMX works well communicates well. But if your using par lights they all go one color or off. I never want a stage dark! once you tell it you have par lights it only option is to turn them one color. For me using pars, light bars etc the controller looks at them as pars and only turns them on color which means my wash lights are the same color as my front lights. Stage is all one color which is just not right. Display screen is small and a pain to navigate. Should have had a app to set this up and program or a bigger screen. 6 scenes is a joke why not have a 100??? if I want different scenes for different songs there is simply not enough. I really don't know other than a very basic DJ controlling a gig bar and some fill lights who this would work for.

Purchased this item because a lighting vendor said I may want this and it’s easier than the remote. This has been a game changer for me when using them as as additional lighting to my uplights. I was able to dim or brighten the lights, plus match the decor of the events. Also, my clients get a kick seeing an item glowing in the dark controlling the lights. Now if I could learn the follow spots. PS: Keep your command and ILS updated.

having the commander makes the light controls so easy, I love the functions and its so much better than dmx, its totally worth the 300 dollar price tag.
