I use these at my escape room to see what my players are seeing in the room - after 5+ years they are all still working perfectly.

Bought 3 of these back in July 2019 for a security monitor set up. As of right now (March 2023) one of them failed. So I just placed an other order for one. Foe the price it was $13 3 years ago and I just paid $16 as of right now.

The product was fine. However, it was not what I needed that's the only reason I returned it.

Product was delivered as promised and works as described. DO NOT use average cables to connect your monitor or other devices to this splitter. I have a lot of cables and used the first set I put my hands on to connect the monitor and projector to the splitter - both displays were sub par. Next, I grabbed a pair of my best cables and viola - excellent signal throughput and superb displays!

Works perfectly. Great quality for a very meager price. All the black and sleek looking splitters are so expensive compared to this. Who cares what it looks like, it's not usually placed where people can see it anyway. I mean, it doesn't look terrible, just doesn't look as good as some. Kinda old-schoolish, but works just fine!

This worked really well. (I've only use it for short periods of time; DJ visuals)The only con that I see is that if you turn off the source signal that it is connected to, all of the monitors will receive no signal. It would be much better if it could just display a black screen or a null signal while not connected to a source.Update: I've also noticed a very annoying buzz/hum from the ac adapter. It seems to be working fine for now, and its not very noticeable when I have music turned up, but it is still there. I feel as though this adapter might fail me during a show, so I might buy another unit. (Ac adapters are around $8; I'd rather buy another splitter w/ adapter for $12 in case this does fail). On the positive, its cheap enough to not really stress if it does fail... Splitters like this used to cost a small fortune..Some people are reviewing that it doesn't extend their display.. duh. This unit only splits the signal. To extend your display, you'll need to purchase a better video card, or an external video card (like usb -> vga; usually won't support higher resolutions). Do some research.

I used this recently for a dance production where we had people in different areas that needed to watch the time remaining on the current song playing. We were running the songs off of an iPad with an adapter that allows it to hook to a VGA monitor. This splitter allowed us to run a monitor at the light board, spot lights, and director table (the sound board operator used the ipad display). We were using long VGA cables (25' and 50') and there were no issues with the resolution or any distortion or anything.

Hooked this splitter up and all images were dim and blurry on multiple monitors. I tried each output with different cables directly to the PC and from the splitter. All cables with direct PC connections were crystal clear. Introduce this splitter into the equation and all of the images on all monitors were terrible and borderline unreadable. I had no choice but to send it back as I am using this in an environment in which all displays must be working properly. Perhaps mine was a fluke but I choose to believe that it was just a substandard product. The price made it attractive but the hours spent testing to make sure the problem wasn't a cable issue and the fact that I had to send it back and order another one put off our multiple display implementation a couple of weeks.
